Premium
Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds
Last updated: 23 September 2026
This English version is provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.
myShelf Premium is bought in the app, through the App Store (iPhone, iPad) or Google Play (Android). This page explains how to manage your subscription, cancel it and get a refund. It supplements section 9 of the Terms.
In short
- Payments, receipts and refunds go through Apple or Google, depending on the device you bought on.
- Deleting the app or your myShelf account does not cancel your subscription: cancel it from your store.
- You have 14 days to withdraw after a first subscription or the purchase of lifetime access, and you then get a full refund.
- Any question? contact@myshelfapp.app — we reply within 48 business hours.
1. Plans
- Monthly or yearly subscription, renewed automatically until cancelled.
- Free trial, when offered for a first subscription: its length is shown before purchase, and it turns into a paid subscription when it ends, unless cancelled.
- Lifetime access: a one-off payment, as a limited series while places remain.
- Promo code: free access for the stated period, with no payment and no renewal.
Prices, including all taxes, are shown in the app before any purchase.
2. Cancelling a subscription
On iPhone or iPad
- Open Settings, then tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Choose myShelf, then Cancel Subscription.
Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, or of the free trial, to avoid being charged.
On Android
- Open Google Play and tap your profile picture.
- Tap Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
- Choose myShelf, then Cancel subscription.
Cancel before the renewal date to avoid being charged.
After cancellation, Premium stays active until the end of the period already paid for, and you are not charged again. The current period is not refunded pro rata, except in the cases described below.
Deleting the app or your myShelf account does not cancel the subscription: Apple or Google would keep renewing it.
3. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw within 14 days of the initial subscription or the purchase of lifetime access, without giving any reason (Articles L. 221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code). We waive our right to keep the part corresponding to the service already supplied: you get a full refund. Withdrawal does not apply to automatic renewals.
App Store purchase
Apple collects the payment and is the only one able to refund it. Make your request at reportaproblem.apple.com (“Request a refund”) or from your Apple account’s purchase history, as provided for in Apple’s terms.
Google Play purchase
- Within 48 hours of purchase: request a refund directly on Google Play, from your order history.
- After that, and up to day 14: write to contact@myshelfapp.app with your myShelf account email address and the Google Play order number (it starts with “GPA” and appears on your receipt). We issue the refund through Google Play within 14 days of your request.
Model withdrawal form
You may use this model, but you do not have to: any unambiguous statement, by email for example, is enough.
Complete and return this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.
To Bryan Houblon (EI), Les Pavillons sous bois, contact@myshelfapp.app:
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service: myShelf Premium subscription / lifetime access (*)
Ordered on (*)/received on (*):
Name of consumer(s):
Address of consumer(s):
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is notified on paper):

(*) Delete as appropriate.
4. Other refund requests
- App Store: Apple alone decides on refunds. You can ask for one at any time at reportaproblem.apple.com, explaining your situation.
- Google Play: after 14 days, write to us. We look into every request (double billing, a technical problem preventing you from using Premium…) and refund when it is justified.
- Legal guarantees: if Premium does not work as described, you are entitled to have it fixed or, failing that, to a price reduction or termination of the contract with a refund (section 11 of the Terms).
- Significant change to Premium or closure of the Service: the unused part of the period paid for is refunded (section 16 of the Terms).
- Promo codes: they are free and give rise to no refund or cash equivalent.
5. After a refund
As soon as the store notifies us of a refund, the corresponding Premium access is removed. For lifetime access, the place goes back on sale. Your account and data remain intact: only the features reserved for Premium become unavailable again.
6. Changing device
Your Premium access is linked to your myShelf account: sign in with the same account to find it on another device. If Premium does not show up, use the restore purchases feature on the Premium offer screen, with the store account used for the purchase. The subscription is always managed and cancelled from the store where it was taken out.
